As someone who has personally experienced the impact of devastating fires, Nina brings an essential message and a deep understanding of the situation—and how to move forward. Ms. Knierim began her sustainability and climate career eight years ago after transitioning from law practice and working with asylum seekers in Chicago and LA. She is currently at CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort), where she successfully launched and manages several programs focused on Community Climate Action, Urban Greening, Wildfire Mitigation, and Disaster Preparedness.
