California Resources Corporation's Carbon TerraVault (CTV) has signed an MOU with National Cement Company of California to provide carbon management services for California’s first net-zero cement facility—the “Lebec Net Zero” project in #KernCounty. This first-of-its-kind project will capture and store up to 1 million metric tons of CO? per year, reducing emissions from one of the hardest-to-decarbonize industries.
