A Few Small Steps for Turbo. One Giant Leap Toward Making Robots Commonplace. ?? ?? ?? Meet Turbo — the first humanoid robot on the Carbon Origins Inc. platform — reporting for duty at our test site at Argent Materials Inc. in Oakland, California! ??? ???? Turbo is being trained for remote-assisted and autonomous machine and site inspection — spotting wear and tear, generating inspection and compliance reports, topping up fuel, oil, and hydraulic fluid for heavy equipment, and using handheld tools and sensors like a seasoned field technician. He'll soon be performing routine inspection and maintenance across the job site and our fleet of robotic machines. ??? Why Humanoid Robots? ?? Because even our most advanced autonomous machines — like Bobby, our robotic skid-steer — need regular inspection and upkeep. So does every other machine on a job site. These tasks are time-consuming, physically demanding, and bottlenecked by a global shortage of skilled technicians. And beyond inspection, there are countless high-risk, ground-level jobs in construction and mining that humanoid robots can soon take on — working alongside manned and autonomous equipment, all unified and connected by the Carbon Origins platform. Powered by Telepresence ??? With VR teleoperation and AI training built into our system, we’re teaching humanoid robots like Turbo to learn from human experts today, so they can work autonomously tomorrow — just like we're doing with heavy equipment. In this video, Turbo is being teleoperated from the UK, over 5,300 miles away, with video-game-like latency. We’re blown away by the engineering from Unitree Robotics and proud to partner with Robonomics to make this vision real. Massive kudos to the Carbon Origins team for integrating Turbo in record time and laying the foundation for a robot labor force that can scale across industries. ?? We’re not just building robots. We’re building the workforce of the future. #HumanoidRobots #RobotLabor #MakingRobotsCommonplace #AI #VR #RemoteOperations #HeavyEquipment #ConstructionTech #MiningTech #Automation #CarbonOrigins #Unitree #Robonomics #RobotWorkforce #FutureOfWork #DeepTech #Innovation #ArgentMaterials #BobbyTheRobot #Teleoperation #AutonomousMachines #NextGenLabor #EngineeringExcellence #RobotFuture #RobotMaintenance #RobotInspection #RobotDeployment
