This is a really special photo for me...It represents a decade of my life.
These backgrounds were used on the first mobile photography studio in the world. My first business. One that took bright and poppy backgrounds that were loved by actors and used by business professionals and brands to be more fun.
These colors represent the spectrum of people we have engaged with over the last 10 years. They stand, leaning against the wall of two offices that we turned into one to bring together two companies. Now, they stand outside these walls to give way to a new chapter in our journey.
I am grateful for this place and for all that has happened inside, outside, and around us.
Thank you all for being a part of this journey and getting us from a little office of 3 people to an empty office during Covid, where I worked alone for almost two years. to becoming a remote team of 15 without a need for a traditional office.
We have outgrown this place. From 3 employees to 15. It's time to move on and forward into whatever happens next.
Starting something new is hard. You make the leap without knowing if what you are building will work or if people will respond to it. For some of us, we have no choice. We have to do it. There is something within us that says, "F* & it," let's go.
I have made a TON of mistakes throughout my entrepreneurial journey. Some were financially expensive. Others were mentally and emotionally taxing, leaving me wondering if I could continue on.
For all of you who may be thinking about starting a business for yourself but are unsure if taking that leap will pay off, I would say, 'do it.' You will learn so much about yourself. You will fail, but you will get up, learn, and grow. You never lose when you invest in yourself.
