Capstone Hospice

I'm grateful for the incredibly compassionate care that Capstone provided to my mother, especially in her last months. Melissa, our case manager, always spoke gently and lovingly with my mom, treating her as tenderly as if my mom was her own grandmother. Melissa was both kind and honest with me, helping discern the best course of care in a difficult situation. She was available readily by text or call so that I felt continually supported. Chaplain Melvin and Diane were warm and supportive along our journey. The team helped me advocate for my mom's care and provided a host of resources that I used. In short, my experience with Capstone was excellent at every point of contact. I highly recommended Capstone.

If there were 100 stars, I would have checked every one of them. It was just God-ordained I was led to Capstone. I was with them for 3 months with a very challenging, but beautiful, wife who had Alzheimer's, in her final stage. Capstone was "above" amazing. Every one of their professionals, well, I don't have the vocabulary to describe their expertise, their kindness, their compassion. I could write for hours about Capstone, from the Administrative process, to the Nurses, to the weekend (emergency for me) Nurses. I know we were challenging for them from the get-go--their response, every time, was full of problem solution, promptness, encouragement, love, "we are here to Serve you". It wasn't just a visit to perform the task that needed resolution, they ministered to me. Thank you Capstone, I will be eternally Grateful.

Capstone Hospice services embody compassion at every step and turn. We hired the company to help us usher our mother on her final leg of her earth-bound journey. Every person on the Capstone team met our needs and exceeded them. In particular, we would like to convey special thanks to mom's weekly care team: Melissa (her RN Case Manager) and Tania (her CNA). They were both there on mom's last day and did everything to make sure she was clean and comfortable. We cannot adequately convey what a treasure these two women were for us on that most difficult of days. In addition, we have a big thank you to the After Hours care team, especially Tyrel who helped us on the phone in the early days and came to the house in the wee hours of the morning the day she passed to help us. Last but not least, Thank You to Chaplain Melvin Bell for his visits. Our mother loved him from the moment he stepped into her room to have a heart-to-heart on anything and everything on her mind.
