For Nicole XU, HR Senior Director at Michael Kors in Shanghai, being part of an ERG offers deeper connections. “It’s more than work—it’s engaging and fulfilling. Last month, Jimmy Choo partnered with acclaimed UAE artist Shaikha Al Mazrou to create a bespoke artwork, Symmetrical Repeats, inspired by the brand’s faceted Diamond design motif and infusing it with a sense of boldness and fluidity. The artwork was unveiled at Lawrie Shabibi gallery with a special panel discussion between Creative Director Sandra Choi, Shaikha Al Mazrou and William Lawrie, moderated by Maán Jalal. Symmetrical Repeats will be permanently installed at Jimmy Choo’s flagship boutique in The Dubai Mall. #JimmyChoo

We’re excited to highlight students supported by the Capri Holdings Foundation for the Advancement of Diversity in Fashion! This past summer, Sumayyat Abdul and ALIKA-JOY KUMASI, both juniors from the Fashion Institute of Technology, joined the Capri Holdings Internship Program. ? For Sumayyat, a Fashion Business Management major, assisting with a full production cycle for a key Michael Kors season was a standout moment. “Seeing how each department collaborates to bring a designer’s vision to life taught me the importance of detail, teamwork, and adaptability,” she shared. Her experience offered invaluable insights into the industry and was supported every step of the way by her team. ? Alika-Joy, a Fashion Design major, recalls her first day as unforgettable. “At first, I only remembered my manager’s hair color! But after an exciting first day—including a costing meeting and a fit session—I was immersed in the fast-paced world of fashion. It was a whirlwind, and I’m grateful for the experience.” ? Basketball sensation Alexandre Sarr is announced as a Versace Global Brand Ambassador. Versace has a rich heritage of championing individuals who have a singular talent in their chosen field. At only 19 years old, French-born Alexandre Sarr has already built his career by playing in Europe, Australia, and the United States of America, having left home at 14 to pursue his passion for the sport. His skill and determination led him to be the second overall pick of this year’s NBA Draft, selected by the Washington Wizards. To attend the draft ceremony, Alexandre wore a custom Atelier Versace tailored suit. “I am thrilled to welcome Alexandre to the Versace family. This October, our Women's ERG, EmpowerHer@Capri, led the charge for “Wear Pink Day,” rallying employees across our global offices, stores, and distribution centers to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In partnership with “Making Strides,” EmpowerHer raised funds for the American Cancer Society, directly contributing to groundbreaking research and vital services for those affected by breast cancer. A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who participated, wore pink, and helped make a meaningful impact on this important cause. Last month, we had the opportunity to sponsor and attend the Black Carpet Awards in Milan! Now in its second edition, the Black Carpet Awards celebrates diversity and inclusion in the global community. This annual event from Afro Fashion Association recognizes the achievements of the unheard voices within society and unites the trailblazers championing Diversity and Inclusion across fashion, design, art, food, music, technology, business, sports and cinema. Several members of our Capri Community attended the event and Fabrizio Cometto, Vice President of Human Resources EMEA for Versace, presented this year’s People’s Choice Award for Leader of Change: Community to D.E.I. Futuro Antirazzista. The award is dedicated to leaders who move the discussion about Diversity and Inclusion forward in their fields of action.
