Our goals are to promote human welfare through the application of psychological science, to increase public awareness of psychology, to encourage the highest levels of ethical standards in the practice of psychology, and to promote the exchange of information and ideas among members. At CAPP, we consider it critical to promote and integrate cultural sensitivity and and a commitment to racial and ethnic diversity throughout the organizational structure of CAPP and the broader community of psychology in Cincinnati. CAPP'S NEW OFFERING: TRAUMA CONSULTATION GROUP We are pleased to announce the start of a?Trauma Consultation Group?facilitated by CAPP board members: Susan Urmetz and Rachel Sparn. This group will meet approximately every 6-8 weeks on Mondays from 11:30am – 1:00pm. The first meeting is?Monday,?October 7th. The Group will be held in a small, intimate conference room at 7864 Camargo Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45243 (inside the offices of Inspired Living, LLC). There is ample parking, a full kitchen available, a meeting room and restrooms.?It will be a “brown bag” lunch group, so bring your own lunch.?Any and all CAPP members are welcome! With this group we hope to invite and encourage CAPP members to utilize and provide consultation, engage in connection, learn from peers, overall foster community, and have fun!
