Congratulations to Zach Harmon for his group winning this case study competition! We were very lucky to have him as our intern over the past couple of summers! Great work Zach!
Cannabis case competition #2 is in the books! Thank you to the Endo team for coming out to see Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business campus and judging the case presentations. The class as a whole stepped their game up and had a great time working with Endo (Don Lofton, Christopher Jaimes, Cara Jaimes). I only get them for 14 weeks so to educate them on this niche, compare it to established industries and get them provide meaningful insights takes a lot of work for the students to get the material. They all did a great job this semester. Congratulations to Zach Harmon, Gianna Desimone, and Evan Mieden. Their tiered system brought some creativity along with incentive for returned transactions. Mixed with cross category sales channels and leveraging partner brands to help them along the way, they produced something that was creative with an easy to implement loyalty strategy. Also congratulations to Alec Andras, Cooper Harrington, Luke Lenning, and Hailey Howard. Your local competitive analysis was impressive along with some creative marketing strategies for both their Adrian and Houghton Lake locations. They did a great job analyzing the data and understanding the differences between a Ohio border store vs. a local/weekend away spot. I'll be working throughout December to get the rest of the calendar built out for the spring. If you're interested in getting involved, now is the time to reach out. Congratulations to my outgoing seniors (about half of my class), I hope you all light the world on fire with your professional pursuits.

In 2022, Reid formed the Capitol Foundation to support the businesses of underserved populations. Along with providing small loans and grants, the foundation has contributed to charitable causes and community members, including an immigrant who could not get a car loan and an unemployed teacher at risk of losing his home.
