Meet Alfonso Cozzo, Senior Project Manager. For over 10 years, Alfonso has been a prominent member of the Capitol Fire Sprinkler team and an important reason why our projects are completed efficiently and on time! From a 40-story new development on East 87th Street to the fit-out of a Tesla dealership in a former Queens mall, he is always ready to take on new challenges and deliver the right results. Armed with a degree in mechanical engineering from NYU’s prestigious Polytechnic School of Engineering, Alfonso is a master at overseeing and implementing our fire protection systems! And when he is not deep in the weeds of built world solutions, Alfonso is most likely deep in the woods, convening with nature in remote campsites that he and his wife cherish.

Meet Joseph Ventre, Chief Estimator. With decades of experience and unmatched industry expertise, Joseph “Joe” Ventre is a cornerstone of the Capitol Fire Sprinkler team. Before joining us in 2012, Joe led his family’s Long Island-based fire protection business, Ventre Fire Sprinkler, a company with roots dating back to the 1950s. Joe’s extensive knowledge spans multiple sectors, including industrial, office, residential, retail, restaurant, and healthcare projects. A natural mentor and team player, Joe consistently goes the extra mile—whether it’s sharing insights on estimating, supporting project management, or troubleshooting on walkthroughs. When he’s not on the job, you can find Joe riding horses or savoring a fine cigar. We’re proud to have Joe as a dedicated leader and mentor at Capitol Fire Sprinkler. Meet Richard Levine, Chairman. Richard Levine has been Capitol Fire Sprinkler’s guiding light for more than 46 years! While his children, Adam and Jamie, now lead the company, Richard’s visionary approach continues to shape its success, particularly through his unparalleled fire sprinkler knowledge. Richard is recognized industry-wide as an expert in design-build fire sprinkler systems, which is why so many people reach out to him for his technical expertise. Armed with a degree in engineering from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Hofstra, Richard is a respected advocate for the industry. He is a longtime member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, NFPA, and the New York Fire Sprinkler Contractors Association. When not hard at work at the office or on a job site, this grandfather of six is likely to be working out at the gym with wife Elaine! ?

Meet Anthony Molina, Director of Operations. For over a decade, Anthony Molina has been the operational heartbeat of Capitol Fire Sprinkler, ensuring smooth project execution from scheduling to overseeing field installation work. Whether managing our in-house pipe fabrication shop or supporting, training, and leading our field mechanics, Anthony keeps things running like clockwork. But don’t be surprised if you catch him up on a ladder, swinging a wrench—he’s never afraid to get his hands dirty, just like in his days as one of our top foremen. A true New Yorker through and through, Anthony calls it like he sees it, especially when it comes to spotting a professional sprinkler installation versus, well, the wannabes! His passion for the business runs so deep, he’s brought his family into the fold—his son Anthony II is quickly rising as our shop foreman, and Elijah is one of our lead mechanics. Outside of work, Anthony is a big boxing fan and fancies himself a bit of a tequila aficionado.

Meet Michael Ward, Design Engineer Manager. Michael “Mike” Ward has been a cornerstone of Capitol Fire Sprinkler for over 21 years, advancing from designing individual projects to overseeing all new and ongoing work. As the head of a six-engineer team, he ensures that every aspect of a project, from design to sprinkler installation, meets the highest standards. A native New Yorker with a B.A. in electrical engineering, Mike is also a dedicated father of four—three in college and one in high school. Outside of work, his passion for education and athletics shines through as he coaches both the men’s and women’s rowing teams at Manhattan University.

Meet Diana Martinez, Operations Coordinator. Multi-talented Diana Martinez, Capitol Fire Sprinkler’s Operations Coordinator, provides high quality service to clients, vendors and field operations teams, while concurrently managing inventory, schedules, and budgets. When she joined us 2016 as a DOB Expeditor, she often assisted our engineers with plans, as-builts and, occasionally, material submittals. After being promoted to Purchasing Manager in August 2022, Diana decided to follow her passion for design, including computer-based design, and returned to school where she earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture --- while still working full time! For all her hard work and accomplishments, Diana still manages to take time for traveling, working out at the gym, and engaging in a host of creative activities. Did we mention, she’s a successful multi-tasker?

Meet Leslie Tannenbaum, Capitol Fire Sprinkler’s dedicated Chief Financial Officer, whose guidance and insight have helped propel our Company’s continuous growth and success since 2011! As C.F.O., her responsibilities encompass overseeing the company’s accounting platforms, and human resources and IT divisions. When not absorbed in her day job, Leslie relaxes with friends and family and takes long walks with her beloved dogs, Ollie and Winnie. A longtime musical theater buff, she enjoys attending Broadway plays and concerts. Leslie is also known for her highly competitive and strategic pickleball matches.?
