Our mission is to lift working adults in Central Texas out of poverty and into living wage careers through education. We connecting committed, yet underemployed people to employers in need of highly-skilled workers. With more than a fifteen years of experience, our innovative program provides the financial and emotional support that non-traditional adult students need to succeed in college and ultimately reach self sufficiency. Since 1998, Capital IDEA has helped nearly 1,200 low-income adults in Central Texas transform their lives.

Congrats to Nina Almasy DNP, RN and the Austin Community College team on hosting the inaugural “Future Health: AI Implications in Healthcare and Education Symposium”. Enjoyed learning how AI is already being adopted and tested in healthcare education and workforce use cases, what we should be mindful of for responsible and ethical AI, and what could be accomplished in the future for efficiencies and values based care.
