    We’re proud to announce that Jason Fuchs has been named President of the Austin Region at Capital Farm Credit! With nearly 26 years of dedication to CFC, Jason has built a reputation as a leader who drives continuous improvement and champions initiatives that strengthen our organization. His experience, commitment, and leadership make him the perfect fit for this role. Jason steps into the position following Wally Hinkle, who will continue serving Capital Farm Credit over the next year as he transitions toward retirement. We’re grateful for Wally’s leadership and lasting impact on the Austin Region. In addition, Trey Brooks has been promoted to Regional Vice President of Sales for the Texas Prairies submarket, following his outstanding contributions to the Capital Advantage program and his success as a top producer.   • Our #TeamCFC presence was strong at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's 58th Annual All Breeds Sale, the longest-running stock show sale in Texas! Employees, executive leadership, and members of our board of directors all came together to connect with producers and support the cattle industry at this historic event. At Capital Farm Credit, we're proud to serve agriculture from every angle - whether in the pasture, at the sale ring, or working behind the scenes to support our customers. While the All Breeds Sale may be wrapped up, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is still going strong!     • Students networking with companies at the TAMU Econ Career Night!

  • The beef industry came together earlier this month in San Antonio for #CattleCon25, the National Cattlemen's Beef Association's premier annual event. As the largest gathering of cattle producers, industry leaders, and experts, CattleCon provides an opportunity to discuss challenges, innovations, and the future of cattle production. Capital Farm Credit was proud to be a part of the conversation - both on the trade show floor and behind the mic. Pat Shields and Casey Cook joined Anne Thompson, from Farm Credit Council, for a live recording of Cattlemen's Call to discuss what sets Farm Credit apart: deep agricultural expertise, strong relationships, and a commitment to helping producers navigate every season. Earlier in the event, Rod Alt participated in on of the event's Cattle Chats, where he shared insight into how producers can prepare for financial success, mitigate risk, and strengthen their operations. Events like CattleCon allow us to engage directly with cattle producers, industry experts, and vendors - building relationships, gaining firsthand insight into industry challenges, and sharing knowledge to help drive agriculture forward.
