In December 2017, the Eyde Family made an incredible gift to our organization: the historic Walter H. French Junior High School. Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting members of Eyde Development for a tour of Walter French to witness the transformation unfolding. During their visit, they entrusted us with a special piece of history—an original plaque honoring Walter French, the school's namesake. This plaque, once displayed in the trophy cases beneath a painted portrait of Walter French, is a striking reminder of the legacy we're preserving.

A big thank you to Leo's Lodge in Lansing for feeding our hardworking Tuesday Toolmen volunteers delicious pizza! Your generosity keeps our team fueled and ready to take on the vital work of building accessibility ramps for those in need. Recently, a neighbor reached out after seeing our crew working just down the street and shared a story about a neighbor who had been experiencing difficulty with falls when exiting his home. With your support, we were able to quickly design and install a safe ramp to help Virgil get in and out of his home more safely. Thank you for helping us support our neighbors and make a lasting difference in their lives!

ICYMI: Watch this inspiring piece featuring our amazing Tuesday Toolmen volunteer crew. For over a decade, these dedicated retirees have built more than 400 accessibility ramps, bringing safety and independence to families across our community. See how their work helped 14-year-old Denver return home from the hospital after battling a life-threatening heart condition, thanks to a ramp built with care and compassion. Thank you, David Andrews from WILX for covering how a "lumber of love" makes a lasting impact! https://lnkd.in/gBWpAcZE
