It was an emotional election week for many of us, yet I had the incredible honor of participating in New Orleans on a panel discussion at the Sports Lawyers Association Fall Symposium. Wonderfully moderated by Shamis Beckley, I enjoyed the conversation with Ashland Johnson and Jason R. Thompson (He-Him-His) on the topic: "Driving DEI in Sports Through Technology: Strategies and Solutions." The learning from each other never stops! Thank you Sadie Houston for putting us all together, and Melissa Pomerene for your leadership as well. As times change, companies must evolve to create and maintain productive, inclusive cultures. On-the-job joy goes way beyond offering some free food and a ping pong table. It requires a new focus on retention of your top talent, as the costs of employee turnover can be crippling, especially in tech sectors. I'm excited here in my new chapter to continue to focus with business leaders on how to have every team member firing on all cylinders, together, collaboratively, productively. Culture matters, as inclusion powers innovation. In today's society, more important than ever! ??
