ASU senior Sia Sheguri has taken her research to the next level at the Center for Accelerating Operational Efficiency (CAOE), investigating the environmental effects of NCAA football conference alignments. With guidance from CAOE’s Executive Director Dr. Ronald Askin and Director Dr. Ross Maciejewski, Sia used data-driven analysis to evaluate carbon emissions in sports travel and how optimal realignment could balance environmental impact.
