Canyons School District is seeking candidates for a Director to steer the launch of an innovative learning center focused on training students for the 21st century workplace.?The Canyons Board of Education on Tuesday, Aug. 20, approved a contract to purchase the Draper, UT headquarters of global tech giant eBay to be the hub for the District's career-focused learning opportunities. The innovation center will serve all Canyons students in grades 9-12. Its courses will be co-designed and co-taught by business leaders. Students will leave with leadership skills and professional portfolios, and have the ability to earn industry certifications, high school credit, and college credit. The Director will be a member of the Superintendent’s Cabinet and is responsible for leading the strategic direction, development, and day-to-day operations of the innovation center. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record of fostering creativity and collaboration.
