I wanted to take a moment to recognize the incredible group of engineers who came together to design, test, build, and ship a novel clean-sheet robotics system over the past 9 months. We already have 3 units built, with a new block design in progress. As we ship units across the country, we're looking to build a stellar Field Engineering Team! This team will handle integration, testing, and deployment, covering hardware, software, and operations. If you're a hands-on engineer who loves working outdoors on the water, installing and supporting electro-mechanical assemblies, and serving as the primary liaison to our partner fisheries—we want to hear from you! If all that waste was instead fed into Arbor’s system, we could remove 1 million tons of CO? from the atmosphere while generating enough clean electricity to power 50,000 homes for an entire year. We are excited to announce that Furno Materials?has been selected for a $20M grant from the?U.S. Department of Energy?in partnership with?Ozinga to accelerate the development of our first commercial plant - Project OZ - in Chicago, Illinois! Furno’s mission is to create a future where?sustainable cement?is?accessible?to everyone, everywhere. This funding reflects the?capital efficiency?of our technology, as we work towards building a?160 tons/day facility?that demonstrates the power of?standardized, decarbonized, and?decentralized?cement production. This project is a key milestone as we advance towards making?decarbonized cement?a reality in the U.S.—revitalizing communities and bringing jobs, innovation, and cleaner production back home. Just one week after its unveiling, the buzz around the VDR2 continues to grow. The Venus Detonation Ramjet (VDR2), a 2000-lb thrust class engine, was introduced at the Up.Summit in Bentonville, leaving a lasting impression. The VDR2 represents a leap forward, offering seamless performance from takeoff all the way to Mach 6. It's a key step in making the hypersonic economy a reality, with initial flight testing on our drone in 2025.
