Today, celebrate the Lunar New Year with a bang. Don't miss SF's parade, one of the largest celebrations of Asian culture in the Western hemisphere. Starting at SF's Second and Market streets at 5.15 pm, Grand Marshal Joan Chen and Honorary Marshal Mayor Daniel Lurie will light firecrackers to welcome the New Year of the Snake. A showcase of floats, acrobats, lion dancers, and a 268-foot Golden Dragon will wind their way around Union Square to Kearny Street and Columbus Ave, where ABC7's Carrie Ann Inaba ("Dancing with the Stars") and a 500-drone light show will close out the parade over San Francisco Bay.
