?? At Cannon Valley Graziers, we envision a world in which soil is respected, ecosystems are honored and protected, and livestock are re-integrated into land management systems. ?? Every solar site is an opportunity to redefine land stewardship for future generations. As communities continue to incorporate solar energy production into the landscape of rural America, we are presented with an enormous opportunity to re-envision land use, and stack benefits across millions of acres. ?? By incorporating grazing livestock into vegetation management systems, we transform solar sites into dynamic, multifunctional projects that restore soil health, enhance biodiversity, and maintain the agricultural value of farmland. ?? So, how is land being used on your solar site? Let's work on a future together! #Agrivoltaics #RenewableEnergy #SolareEnergy #CleanEnergy #SolarGrazing #LandStewardship #RegenerativeAgriculture #Biodiversity #ClimateAction #SoilHealth #Sustainability ?? Had a awesome time showcasing our work at American Clean Power Association (ACP)’s #CLEANPOWER24 !
?? Not a baaaaad way to end #CLEANPOWER24: attendees had the chance to tour an agrivoltaics site in Minnesota on the final day of the conference. In Minnesota, Cannon Valley Graziers and Natural Resource Services, Inc have partnered to use targeted sheep grazing as a part of integrated vegetation maintenance to help manage and maintain a native pollinator ecosystem on a community solar garden. Agrivoltaics—blending solar energy with agricultural practices like grazing and pollinator habitats—offers a potential dual-use land strategy.
