When I first started in the Massachusetts cannabis market 4 years ago, I didn’t see a single person who looked like me doing what I wanted to do. It was intimidating, to say the least. But with love and encouragement from my circle, I took that leap. I showed the world exactly who I am: a passionate event planner, a superb content creator, and yes—the dab daddy himself. Don’t get it twisted—this journey from budtender to retail marketing manager hasn’t been for the faint of heart, but it’s been so worth it. Every collaboration, whether great or not-so-great, has taught me something invaluable. So, here’s my message for you: Take that leap. Don’t overthink the landing. You’re stronger, braver, and more capable than you realize. Let’s keep bringing our shine to every project, every opportunity, and every connection. One standout for me is experiencing the strains up close—not just their scent or texture in a gloved hand but hearing directly from employees about what they love and what excites them.
