A 2024 report from the The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) Abuse (NIDA) confirmed what many already suspected—#womenincannabis are a major force in the space. Data shows that women aged 19-30 consume more cannabis than men, and 1 in 3 women in the U.S. now partake. They’re also outspending men per dispensary visit and make up 55% of Jointly’s product-rating app users. Yet, despite their purchasing power and influence, women hold only 39% of #executiveleadership roles in the #cannabisindustry. This marks a shift from his previous pro-legalization stance as a presidential candidate. When pressed by Sen.
