Summertime in most places comes with hot temperatures; one thing about the heat is that it is chocolate’s kryptonite. However, that doesn’t mean we still can’t enjoy our favorite candies. To offset the hot temperatures within our shipments, we offer our customers the option of purchasing ice packs and thermo cases to help keep the candies cool. We recommend purchasing a Thermo Case and an appropriate amount of ice packs, which is one ice pack per perishable candy item, to keep your candies safe. However, we knew that a history book on candy would not be what we would want to read, so we created a place to look at the history of candy visually. Since the 1950s, our bagged candy line has been going strong, making it the oldest and longest private bagged candy line in the business. It was first named Todd Kiddie Favorites. Then it was changed to Todd Candy. How McKeesport Candy Co. got its name is a mystery even to us. Now, we offer dozens of unwrapped and wrapped bulk options with various candies.
