Meet Attorney Danya Alhafidh. She has long held a passion for working with families and children and brings over 10 years of family law experience working as a paralegal in the field, including 2 years working as a law clerk with Candelaria LLP. Danya graduated from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern and North African Studies. Danya obtained her Doctorate in Jurisprudence from John F. Kennedy School of Law at NCU in 2022 where she graduated as one of the top students in her class. Today commemorates the passage of the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution, which gave women the right to vote. The law passed in 1920, and the US Congress designated August 26 as Women’s Equality Day, in the United States. We would like to highlight the 2024 theme of the USDA Forest Service that deeply resonates with our values at Candelaria LLP: “Equality starts with empowered women,” which highlights the importance of fostering wellbeing and resilience of women in the workplace and society.
