On March 9, 2025, 300 walkers, runners, and even some four-legged friends ?? came together at Shoreline Aquatic Park for our first-ever “Together We Walk”—a heartfelt tribute to Judith Opdahl and a show of strength for those impacted by cancer. ? ??♂? Every step, every smile, every hug was a reminder that we are stronger together. With a stunning 5K course, an inspiring expo, and an outpouring of love and support, the energy was electric! ? ? ?? $50,000+ raised—and we’re not done yet! Fundraising continues through Friday, March 14, helping CSC South Bay provide 200+ free cancer support programs every month. ? ?? Empowering Through Nutrition: A Heartwarming Collaboration I had the incredible opportunity to partner with Cancer Support Community South Bay for their Nutrition Program, where members received valuable education on the power of food in healing and wellness. The highlights! A Pozole Verde cooking demo, bringing together nourishment, culture, and community. Cancer Support Community South Bay does an amazing job providing free support, education, and hope to individuals and families facing cancer, ensuring they have access to resources that improve their quality of life.
