PHYSICIAN-OWNED PRACTICE IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS SEEKS MEDICAL ONCOLOGIST: Cancer Care Specialists of Illinois (CCSI) seeks a medical oncologist/ hematologist to join our Decatur-based practice due to planned retirements.?Our Decatur-based practice includes 6 medical oncologists and 2 radiation oncologists. CCSI provides the only local oncology care for a large portion of central and southern Illinois.?CCSI is the largest independent physician owned and governed interdisciplinary oncology group in Illinois. CCSI’s mission is to provide world class care close to home. Clinical research is encouraged and our achievements have been recognized by ASCO and the NCI. Cancer Care Decatur is located in a federally designated health manpower shortage area, and CCSI can sponsor physicians for their J-1b visa waiver applications.?Physicians joining CCSI are recruited on a partnership track for both equity and governance participation.
