Dedicated to training the next generation of cancer researchers
关于我们
The Cancer Biology Training Consortium (CABTRAC) was established in 2005 to facilitate the exchange of ideas between individuals and institutions dedicated to the mission of training the next generation of cancer researchers. The consortium works closely with over 80 institutions within the US as well as the National Cancer Institute’s Cancer Training Branch. CABTRAC has published two articles on training: Ph.D. Training In Cancer Biology. Cancer Research [2008, 68(22):9122-4] Essential Components of Cancer Education. Cancer Research [2015, 75(24); 5202–5] CABTRAC hosts the premiere cancer research training conference in the United States, the Cancer Biology Annual Retreat, bringing together today’s and tomorrow’s leaders in cancer research. The Retreat provides a forum to discuss new educational concepts and trends, training program development, national policy, and the latest information on training grant applications and renewal. The Retreat engages T32 PIs, cancer center directors, training program directors and coordinators, grant administrators, graduate education directors, graduate advisors, and NCI staff.
