Today is #WorldSocialWorkDay! Cancer and Careers partners with a lot of social workers who do remarkable work in the cancer community and beyond, but there are two we are slightly biased toward. Rachel Becker and Nicole Jarvis are our two phenomenal in-house social workers. Many of you may have spoken with them for one-on-one support, or seen them present our content at a CAC event or around the country with one of our partner organizations. We are so lucky to have Rachel and Nicole on our team, as well as the numerous social workers who have presented at our events or attended our continuing education programs over the past nearly 25 years. They help spread CAC's services far and wide to their clients around the country and we are so grateful. #bethebossovercancer #socialworkers

Staying organized is critical to working after a cancer diagnosis. A to-do list is a great way to stay on top of tasks and projects, but it doesn't really help you figure out how to get the work done. Time blocking can help you plan your day and stay focused on completing everything you need to before the end of the day. We couldn't wait for tomorrow so we're celebrating National Employee Recognition Day early, and we first want to acknowledge our own team. The faces you see in this post make Cancer and Careers' mission come to life. They are passionate, intelligent and hilarious people working hard for our community every day. We also want to recognize all the employees across the country who are navigating work after a cancer diagnosis. For nearly 25 years, we've been proud to be your advocate and a part of your support system. #EmployeeAppreciationDay
