We’re thrilled to share the success of Can Do Cancer’s recent matching campaign! Thanks to your generosity, we not only met but exceeded our goal. An anonymous donor offered a $20,000 match, and you rose to the challenge. From October 19 through the end of the month, you helped us raise $29,168.51—unlocking the full $20,000 match. Our donor has generously matched the entire amount, meaning nearly $60,000 will go directly toward supporting breast cancer patients in Central Iowa. We are deeply grateful for your commitment. Wow, it was another successful night of fundraising for Can Do Cancer! The updated total from our 12th annual Trivia Night Fundraiser?is $163,837! These funds will allow us to serve 136 cancer patients and their families in our community. Thank you to all our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and attendees. You all played a role in the success of the evening! Special thanks to our event chair Kari Madole and auction chair Cheri Waterhouse for your time and talent, trivia mastermind Nathan Brewer, speaker Bob Wirtz, auctioneer Riley Sieren, DJ Donnel, and emcee Ken Auge for commanding the crowd. Can Do Cancer was excited to take part in the Pretty in Pink Walk and Health Fair hosted by Black Women 4 Healthy Living (BW4HL) last weekend. We love engaging with our local communities and sharing information about what we do and the support we offer to those going through chemotherapy for breast cancer.
