A few weeks before the 2020 lockdown, the Google Video Summit (Google's internal video teams conference) took place at the Santa Monica office, and we gave a presentation about how we were splitting up our long-form video content into channel-specific formats*. The ethos of what we were doing still holds but most of our assumptions and tactics are no longer correct post-2020. I left Google in 2021 and pivoted completely from commercial work to pursuing my independent projects. Grateful for my time at the big G and honored to take everything I learned with me.
