  • The Avapanam Forum for Inclusive Social Development in India hosted its 6th Annual Conference from January 3rd to 5th, 2025. The theme,?"The Contemplative Journey of an Educator,"?honored the 100th Anniversary of Rudolf Steiner’s Curative Course. Camphill Academy alumnus, Sashika Patell, had the privilege of attending the conference, engaging deeply with thought leaders and curative educators.     This year’s Camphill Academy Collegium meeting was uplifting?and motivating!? ?We delved into key themes around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, sparking meaningful conversations about embracing inclusion and creating spaces where everyone feels welcome. The group’s commitment to deepening our shared work was made even stronger as we warmly welcomed Gaya as the newest member of the Collegium. A heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined, shared ideas, and made the weekend so special.?

    Register now for the open online lecture series ?Every Child a New Riddle“! Together with the Anthroposophic Council for Inclusive Social Development, we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of Rudolf Steiner’s curative education course. In 13 lectures from June 25 to July 7, 15 colleagues will talk about what inspires and interests them about this course and motivates them to continue their work. The lectures will take place live via Zoom every day and will be translated and recorded in German, English, Spanish, and Russian. Registration is free of charge. We look forward to seeing you there!     Continuing Education: Social Economics in Camphill speaker series. - Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 10am to 11:30am ET - on Zoom - Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 10am to 11:30am ET - on Zoom Guy Alma (The Camphill School) will facilitate panels on how communities make economic decisions. In each of these cases, we will hear how communities discern ways in which their values can meet the needs of their unique situations.
