Kimberly has over 13 years of experience providing assurance services.?After starting her career at an international accounting firm, she’s been a leader in our audit group for over 10 years. ??During this time, Kimberly has had extensive experience in serving privately-held and private-equity backed companies, providing accounting advisory services with respect to complex consolidations & combinations, purchase accounting, recapitalizations, carve outs, implementation of new accounting standards, quality of earnings studies, revenue recognition, and employee benefits. ?Her clients have included growers, food processors, food manufacturers, transportation companies, other manufacturers, wholesale distributors, resellers, construction companies, and professional service firms. Over the past two years, Kimberly has been a key advisor in connection with the adoption of the operating lease standard for many companies. ??She consulted on reporting entities having from 5 to 200+ leases, guiding her clients through the identification, analysis, and implementation phases of these lease accounting standard implementations.?In each case, she identified the most efficient path to compliance, while not straining the resources of her client accounting departments. Kimberly also provides value by preparing clients for capital raising activities, dispositions, and mergers.?She guides clients to better compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, thereby helping her clients to better anticipate transaction terms and possible issues complying with debt covenants, both of which are often based on accurate accounting under generally accepted accounting principles. When she is not providing valued service to her clients, she is proud to serve on the audit committee and finance committee of two local animal welfare non-profits.
