This Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we're proud to shine a light on some of the incredible families we serve. Their resilience and strength in the face of such unique challenges inspire us every day. We understand that a child’s cancer diagnosis impacts the entire family. That’s why, throughout the year, Camp Sunshine hosts four Family Camp weekends, dedicated to offering a supportive community filled with laughter and joy. We would like to congratulate Chanteasea Swain on her recent promotion to Director of Operations! "For the past 19 years, I have been working at Camp Sunshine, but it has never felt like work. It has been a way for me to serve the community, make the world a better place for children with cancer and their families, and receive more love than I could possibly give. I am filled with love, knowing I am pursuing my dreams alongside the best team. The quote by Confucius, 'Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life,' highlights the importance of finding fulfillment in our professional pursuits. When we are passionate about what we do for a living, our work no longer feels like a burden or obligation; rather, it becomes an outlet for our deepest desires and an opportunity for personal growth and self-realization.", Chanteasea said.

Not only are they child development experts, but they are also some of the most bubbly and kind people you will meet!
