We are still looking for candidates to join our board and help lead this wonderful organization. Board of Directors Opening Friends of Camp Little Notch is looking for new leadership on our Board of Directors.? Are you passionate about preserving 443 acres of pristine wilderness and empowering girls through wildness camp programming? Are you interested in joining a young organization with deep roots?and a focus on growth?? Come join our team! We're looking for dedicated professionals who are excited to join a working Board for a two-year term. We're especially interested in people with experience in land management, finance, fundraising, camp operations, and/or marketing. Friends of Camp Little Notch was incorporated as a 501c3 organization in 2010. We preserve, develop, maintain, and operate the camp’s property, facilities, and programming. Our Mission? Friends of Camp Little Notch provides wilderness experiences to children and adults, shaped by fun and friendship, empowering self-discovery, collaboration within a diverse community, and an appreciation of nature.? Our vision? Our vision is a future where people transformed by Camp Little Notch experiences become confident, thoughtful, compassionate, independent thinkers who are accepting of others, and are steadfast stewards of nature. “It is heartening to think that this landscape is being preserved for generations of young women to experience and cherish. Responsibilities Attendance of at least ? of the monthly Board meetings a year. They are approximately 2 hours via Zoom. Serve on at least one, but no more than three organizational committees Participate in the annual Board retreat Dedicate at least 15 hours a month to Friends of CLN Board and committee work Fundraise on behalf of CLN? Annual financial contribution (any amount) Ideal Qualifications Non-profit Board experience Professional experience in the skills listed above Past leadership experience?
