Camino Consulting Group is pleased to announce Candace Smith as the new Chief Executive Officer of Washington Tennis & Education Foundation (WTEF) . Candace’s career has been rooted in the D.C. education sector for over 15 years, first as a teacher and most recently as Regional Executive Director at City Teaching Alliance. Under her leadership, Candace positioned City Teaching Alliance as the novice teacher pipeline of choice in DC, expanding the program’s reach by securing a formal contract with DC Public Schools. She managed a $7-10 million budget and raised an average of $1.7 million a year. She was promoted to Regional Executive Director in 2023, expanding her leadership to the Baltimore region. She now brings her wealth of experience to WTEF to lead the organization in its next chapter of service. Congratulations to Candace and WTEF.
