Creating sustainable success

关于我们

Cameron-Cole is a environmental and engineering consulting firm with locations across the U.S. It maintains a multi-disciplinary staff that includes experienced scientists, engineers, geologists, hydrogeologists, chemists, statisticians, policy analysts, and information technology specialists. At Cameron-Cole we make our careers by addressing the most difficult environmental challenges. This is the way that we have chosen to show our value - relishing in the the development and application of systematic solutions for technical problems that require data, an understanding of fundamentals, and insight, but recognizing that to be useful our solutions must be done under limitations of time and budget. If this sounds like the reason you spent all those hours studying STEM subjects, come and join us. If this sounds like a team of specialists you want working on your side, give us a call and put us to work. Recently, we've been addressing the unfolding challenge of Per- and Poly-fluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS). This is why we work.

  • ??#FAQ: What is the TRI? The Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) is a public database that tracks the amount of toxic chemicals released into the environment as reported by industrial and federal facilities. Companies report certain chemicals they release into the air or water, as well as the amount. The data found in the #TRI is compiled by the companies reporting possible contaminants in their facilities. Because of the vast listing of contaminants available for TRI reporting (nearly 800), organizations often feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to start. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gMtkfCmV

  • A gasoline station with gasoline and waste oil contamination was remediated by our team at Cameron-Cole to the regulatory acceptable standards using in Situ Bioremediation technology. "Within one year of the initiation of the remediation system, the concentrations of oil and grease were reduced to 79 mg/kg (PPM). This represents a 99.6% reduction in contaminant concentrations." ?? FAQ: What is a Phase 1 ESA? "All Appropriate Inquiries" or AAI, is the process of evaluating a property’s environmental conditions and assessing potential liability for any contamination. It describes a legal standard established by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that must be met by any party who may potentially claim protection from #CERCLA liability as an innocent landowner, a bona fide prospective purchaser, or a contiguous property owner.?These defenses limit a purchaser’s liability for historic contamination that predates their ownership. A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) is a specific type of environmental investigation that when properly conducted, has been determined by U.S. EPA to meet the requirements of AAI.?The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Designation E1527-21 describes a Standard Practice for preparing Phase I ESA’s that is refenced in 40 CFR Part 312 as fulfilling AAI. Find out what is involved in a Phase 1 ESA in our latest #FAQ here: https://lnkd.in/gjmTxGjj
