Our Industrial Pretreatment Program works to detect, monitor, and stop odors before they start. From tracking down pollution sources to holding industries accountable, we’re making sure Camden County stays fresh, clean, and breathable!

That’s why CCMUA’s Industrial Pretreatment Program makes sure industries treat their wastewater first before it ever enters the municipal system. The result? Someone call Joel Embiid—we’ve got pipes ready for a slam dunk! Our collection system features pipes up to 96 inches tall (that’s 8 feet!), big enough for any basketball player to stand tall. These all-star pipes handle massive wastewater flows, keeping our community clean and safe. Talk about a perfect assist!

Brian’s journey started with the County’s Public Works, and now he’s a trusted Pump Station Operator who thrives behind the wheel of the Vactor truck. His favorite part? Here’s the best part: thanks to awesome clean fleet incentive programs from PSE&G and the NJ Board of Public Utilities, we’re installing these charging stations for just a fraction of the cost—only a third of the actual price tag! This is not only a big saving but also big progress toward a more sustainable future in Camden County.
