In February, CA Mosaic and our Diverse Manager Reseach team hosted a conversation with Mellody Hobson in our Arlington office. Mellody is the Co-CEO and President of Ariel Investment and Chair of the Board of Starbucks and one of the most influential Black asset managers in the world. She discussed her professional journey, work ethic, the importance of diversity in asset management, and the hurdles she's experienced as a Black woman in finance.

CA kicked off 2024 by hosting Basis Point, a 3-day program led by our DEI Office, where 14 students from 8 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) learned more about the world of investment management. The program is aimed at fostering young, diverse talent, building meaningful connections, and creating memorable experiences. We look forward to hosting this program again in the future!
