The Museum of Fine Arts Houston is known as an educational and cultural epicenter with world-class exhibitions that draw local residents and visitors from across the U.S. The Kinder Exhibition Hall is the final component in an eight-year project to expand and enhance the Museum of Fine Arts Houston campus. The new building offers 100,000 square feet of exhibition space dedicated to international collections of modern and #contemporaryart. Camarata Masonry Systems, Ltd. (CMS) was responsible for the #supply and #installation of 14,800 square feet of thermal finished Carnelian granite pavers, stair treads and risers, along with 4,200 square feet of Mesabi Black granite with a Diamond 8 finish at the water features in the plaza area (known as “Kinder Plaza”). Additionally, CMS installed 3,900 square feet of precast benches, walkway bridges and planters around the building perimeter. Kinder Plaza is very unique in its design; and you realize that this “work” in itself is to be appreciated as art, just as much as any other exhibit. The Texas Construction Association’s 2025 Walk on the Capital was a success, with key representatives from the industry meeting with lawmakers to discuss important issues. Sydney Taylor from Representative Charles Cunningham’s office, Matthew McGrenera, MBA from Representative Greg Bonnen’s office, Chris Lacy from Senator Brandon Creighton’s office, and Matt Patterson from Senator Mayes Middleton’s office all played pivotal roles in making this event impactful for the future of construction in Texas.

Sid Richardson Residential College is a unique #masonry #project that changes the landscape of Rice University campus. In keeping with much of the architecture on the Rice University campus, Camarata Masonry Systems, Ltd.
