Over the past two days, our email system was subjected to a targeted attack. This included an influx and "blast"of several email messages from one or more individuals within our organization. Some emails sent from our team during this period may have contained malicious attachments. We are taking this matter seriously and investigating the incident thoroughly. Immediate Actions Taken: Email System Lockdown: To prevent further unauthorized access, we immediately implemented a lockdown of our email system. So most emails from the past 48 hours may not have been received. Please consider that we will be receiving several backlogs of emails in the next few days, but if we have not responded, consider that your message may have not been filtered through. Our security team is actively investigating the incident to understand the scope and nature of the attack. Malware Scans: We have conducted a comprehensive malware scan on all systems to identify and eliminate any potential threats and have been working with Microsoft 365 support to resolve any remaining issues over the next 48 hours. Resolution and Security Measures: Although we are pleased to inform you that the threats have been resolved, and additional security measures have been implemented to fortify our email infrastructure, please be cautious of supicious emails from our team and followup with members before opening any attachments. Again, please take cautionary measures. If you have received any emails from CAM Millwork with attachments in the past two days, we strongly advise you to exercise caution. Please refrain from opening any attachments or clicking on any links until further notice. If you are uncertain about the legitimacy of an email, please contact us directly for verification. We are working closely with cybersecurity experts to enhance our defenses and ensure a more robust security posture moving forward.
