In addition to graduate programs, Calvin offers other opportunities for adults to continue learning! Here's a great example: Plaster Creek Stewards Project GreenER. ?????? This free adult educational program equips adult learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement restorative green projects in their communities. As part of Project GreenER, each participant will design and implement a small, independent restoration project of their choosing, with funding and support provided. You'll leave with new skills, a badge of completion, and a community of friends who care about environmental restoration. The program is free, and it includes a meal on the night of class! In this position, she realized she loved working in higher education and partnering with students of all backgrounds to achieve their academic and personal goals. She earned her master's in Higher Education from the University of Denver while working full-time as the Assistant Director of Academic Affairs in the Office of Graduate Studies, supporting graduate students and graduate academic units. Ashley Spaulding’s story began with a bold decision to enlist in the Army—a choice that led her to face the realities of military life, loss, and resilience. After leaving the Army, inspired by a friend’s encouragement to "change the world," she pursued speech-language pathology to make a meaningful impact.
