I've collaborated with Tony Swinney of Mustard Post once again, this time commissioned by Richard Berry of Dialogue Agency for Bentley Motors The brief asked how we would express and counterpoint the grace, velocity, agility, style, power, reactivity and balance of two extremely dynamic subjects; world champion fencer David Sosnov and the new Bentley Motors Flying Spur. Conveying static poise and explosive energy with in-camera still photographs required multiple lighting solutions, combining fast frozen captures with long exposure light-trails which traced the tip of David's foil and directly illuminated the car. Wheels for the weekend ... If you want to a trip out to the Cotswolds or escape somewhere nice for the weekend then JLR have a car hire arm to their business called THE OUT. They will deliver a flagship vehicle to you any time of the day. No long queue's or waiting around. The car we photographed on the day was stunning - I just couldn't work out how to get into it :) I had the pleasure of working with an amazing team on this one. Both stills and film crew.
