Last Friday, Calvary hosted more than 40 churches in the area to celebrate what God did through his church this past Christmas season. Did you know more than 24 million boys and girls have made a decision to follow Christ because of Operation Christmas Child (OCC). Hear how Kelly's family has been impacted by this incredible ministry: "OCC has provided my family with a meaningful way to serve a cause we deeply believe in: that every child should have the opportunity to experience the love of Jesus. Through our involvement, we’ve had the privilege of packing shoeboxes, collecting them at our church, and participating in several packing parties, among other activities. Beyond planting a seed in a child’s heart, we are also serving alongside not only our church family but also with loving and generous people from our broader community. Being a part of OCC has become a cherished tradition in our family. We’ve been filling shoeboxes for over 15 years now, and it’s something we look forward to every year. We truly believe that by partnering with Samaritan’s Purse, we are helping them fulfill their mission of sending the Gospel to the ends of the Earth. It’s a powerful reminder that our small acts of love can make a big difference, touching children’s lives around the world and letting them know they are seen, loved, and valued." Chris' recent mission trip with Enduring Treasure Ministries surprised and changed him as God transformed his heart. Here is what he had to say about his journey: "Through the smoke filled and congested streets of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the Lord revealed how many of us go through our spiritual lives only seeing a small distance in front of us. The smoke doesn’t allow us to see clearly and it reminds me of walking around with veiled faces. We see only the demands of this day that seem overwhelming. “And we all, with unveiled faces, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” 2 Cor. 3:18 I thought I was going to a place to be a light in a smoky veiled place and to train and equip Christian leaders to excel in ministry that transforms, but the real transformation took place in my heart as I encountered what some might describe as the least of these. Not so in the kingdom of God! With the humblest of means, I saw what it means to live by faith and worship with all you have to offer which changed the way I worship God even today."

It’s that time of year! This past Monday, our American Heritage Girls kicked off the Operation Christmas Child (OCC) season with a bang ?? They packed and prayed over 203 boxes that will bring joy and share Jesus with kids all over the world! Be sure to pick up a box this weekend and pack your own!

WHAT A DAY!! A massive THANK YOU to every person who served at the oil change today! 90 cars, but most importantly, people, were seen today. From check-in to final inspection to lunch, everyone worked together! Each of you was Jesus to each person served today. People were seen, heard, cared for, loved on, and prayed for. Some folks shed tears, and you were a hand to hold or the arms to wrap them with a hug. To all of this, we say 'thank you.' Thank you for making it known in our community that JESUS MATTERS MOST.
