They were paired with chefs to create innovative bites and beverages for conference attendees. They also attended sessions on trends and networked with food R+D leaders from across the country. As proud supporters of the culinary arts, we recently participated in our first ProStart Program Culinary Clash and it was a big success! Over nine working sessions, leaders from our Culinary and Kitchen Operations teams worked?with student sous chef Ana on recipe development, competition logistics, booth design, equipment preparation, and presentation skills. We are thrilled to announce that Ana and the team brought home awards for best bite overall and best station presentation. We’re excited to support young people pursuing careers in the culinary arts. #Cooking Tech ?? Students from the Impactful Bites culinary arts program got some tasty lessons in sustainable cooking at Southern California Edison (SCE)'s Foodservice Technology Center. The state-of-the-art research facility welcomed the young professionals to its ultramodern, all-electric kitchen to learn how to make pizza with energy-efficient, commercial food service tools. We partner with the California Restaurant Foundation youth program to provide young adults valuable on-the-job skills.
