It’s an exciting time to be in technology! I had the pleasure of representing Callibrity at the North Carolina Technology Association (NC TECH) Outlook for Tech on Friday along with my partner Jake McSwain to introduce Ted Abernathy and the North Carolina State of Technology report (ncstir.com). NC rank as the #1 state in % of the Tech Industry workforce made up of women! Enjoyed hearing 2025 predictions from Sharyn Leaver and seeing one of my favorite people Darrell Thompson along with so many others! A couple insights that really stood out: -Three out of four firms that build aspirational genetic architectures on their own will fail. -AI vendor consolidation won’t occur this year due to sustained enterprise demand and vibrant startup activity. -Global Technology spending will 5.6% in 2025 to $4.9 trillion. -Brand loyalty will decline by 25% but usage of loyalty programs will increase. -Dissatisfaction will drive two-thirds of business buyers to shop for new solutions. -Employee engagement will turn upward as employees acclimate to a “new normal”. All of the speakers and panelists did such a fantastic job sharing very relevant insights as we take on 2025!
