Tunista Construction is wrapping up the final underground utilities and structural excavations, gearing up for the last phase of the new parking lot addition at the $100M Rainier Beach High School project in Seattle. Tunista's team gave Krista O'Neill, our VP of Administration, and Mac Stevens, Director of Safety & Risk, a tour of the project site. This 4-year, multi-phase project, awarded in late 2021, has been a challenging yet rewarding endeavor with up to 150 trade workers navigating a highly active site. The new 233,700 sq. ft. facility will soon be home to nearly 1,600 students and will stand as a cornerstone in the Seattle School District's development program.
