?? Another legislative session in the books! ?? CTA members have a summary of all the action in their inboxes. It was a busy year to say the least and I'm extremely proud of the work the team at California Trucking Association did. What we were up against: - A California only underride guard mandate authored by one of the Legislature's most powerful members - Two union sponsored bills, including one that would have handed over control of intermodal chassis - An effort to keep money earmarked for improvement of trade corridors away from our highway system - A last second bill on warehouse development and truck routes - Getting our sponsored bill through the process Thank you California Trucking Association members for your support. It's not an exaggeration to say your investment in advocacy saved us hundreds of millions of dollars in new costs, legal liabilities and inefficiencies.
