Great first week at the new California State Firefighters' Association (CSFA) and EMS Corps’ new EMT Program in the city of Riverside. Our students passed their American Heart Association CPR class and started their EMR training for the next several weeks before EMT training. Thank you to our partners at Prevent Training Solutions and American Medical Response/NCTI. Friday ended with a presentation from David Gandara from Stryker and an awesome tour at Riverside City FD Station 1. We’re looking forward to sharing our experiences over the coming months. Yesterday was a history making day in Riverside where the California State Firefighters' Association and EMS Corps started our new EMT Program! CSFA was blessed to be awarded a State EDD grant to fund at least 3 cohorts. Our students represented many communities throughout the regional area and they were excited to begin our orientation. What an honor that the California State Firefighters' Association was asked to support & participate at the largest Wildfire Relief Smooth Jazz Concerts with over 35 of the world’s top smooth jazz musicians this past weekend at the South Coast Winery Resort & Spa in Temecula Ca. Apaulo Productions raised approximately $200,000 dollars by the sold out/overflowed crowd in attendance to help recent Los Angeles wildfire victims. Special thanks to Smooth Jazz Saxophonist Michael Paulo & his wife Terri for coordinating the event, along with Dave Koz and the rest of the musicians who donated their time and talent for this event.
