Earlier this month, CNCDA Chairman’s Club member and Tom's Truck Center Owner, KC Heidler, met with Senator Bob Archuleta (D - Pico Rivera), as they waited for a hydrogen truck to be refueled at Tom’s Truck Center in Santa Fe Springs. “We always appreciate when Senator Archuleta stops by. As the Chair of the Senate Select Committee on Hydrogen Energy, he's always excited to see what we're doing with our hydrogen business,” said Heidler. Our March NextGen Spotlight is Ken Harvey! ?? Ken's journey in the auto industry started from childhood and today he oversees four Honda stores across Northern California!: "I was born and raised in the East Bay to a family that have been dealers in the Bay Area since the early 1950s. What started as a small motorcycle dealership in Richmond has grown into four Honda dealerships and two Mazda dealerships in Northern CA. My experience in the dealerships began as a 5 year old blowing up balloons?and progressed to working in the parts department and after a stint of nearly three years selling Porsches in Livermore I came back to working with my family dealerships. After working as a Sales Manager?for several years while attending NADA Academy I now oversee our four Honda stores. Although the car business is a 24 hour a day business, when I am away from the stores I enjoy spending time with my wife, Melody, and two children, Hayden (3) and Rhett (2). In the few spare moments I have outside?of work and family I am passionate about vintage car restoration?and racing. I have been blessed to have countless incredible?mentors and continue?to be blessed with the pleasure?of serving my community and our nearly 400 employees." Thank you for sharing your journey, Ken!
