关于我们
Formed in 1897 as a social club for fire chiefs in the state, known at that time as the California Fire Chiefs Club, the California Fire Chiefs Association has grown to become one of the largest and most influential state chiefs' associations in the country. Representing over 650 fire chiefs from nearly 1,000 emergency services agencies, along with 1500 Section members, the Cal Chiefs of today is a professional organization designed to advance the profession and represent the diverse interests of its membership. Eight Sections work tirelessly to provide value in each of their specialty areas: Fire Operations, Fire Prevention, Training, Emergency Management, Administrative Support Services, Communications, Fire Mechanics and Emergency Medical Services. In addition, Cal Chiefs has a Legislative Division, including a large Legislative Taskforce. Progressing forward the California Fire Chiefs Association plans to continue its work locally and nationally on key legislation that impacts the fire service. Additionally, we look to strengthen the relationships and network between chiefs throughout the state to provide support during the challenging economic and social times ahead.

Joint Association Announcement CalChiefs & FDAC are honored to represent California firefighters. We extend our deepest sympathies to the communities affected by the recent Southern California fires. The loss of lives, homes, businesses, schools, and the sense of security is truly heartbreaking. The destruction of cherished spaces impacts us all profoundly. While tangible keepsakes may be lost, the resilience and memories of those affected remain a testament to their strength. California continues to endure relentless firestorms, impacting every corner of our great state. Amid these challenges, we are reminded of the exceptional courage demonstrated by all those on the front lines. We are profoundly grateful to every firefighter who is actively battling these devastating fires. Firefighters from across the nation and our colleagues to the north and south have answered the call. This mutual aid exemplifies the fire service's unique spirit: an unwavering passion to help and an unrelenting dedication to serve… https://lnkd.in/gN8EMr5Q #honored #firefighter #ThankYouFirstResponders #WildfireResponse #californiafires

Our priority is to ensure that all fire departments in California have access to the best tools available, regardless of their size or budget. That’s why we’ve partnered with 3AM Innovations Inc. to provide FLORIAN Monitor to fire departments statewide for a full year, and at no cost to the departments. FLORIAN Monitor is an incident command app that displays multiple windows of incident critical information on a single screen. That includes situational data such as 3D and satellite maps, hydrant statuses, and building layouts, along with real-time updates like incident notes, weather maps, and drone feeds.
