I recently spoke at the US China Green Energy Council's Summit to share what California and the California Energy Commission is doing to promote green energy innovation and enhance US-China cooperation on climate actions. I discussed the state’s milestones with battery storage capacity, increasing ZEV sales, and investments in clean technology and ZEV manufacturing. We know addressing the climate crisis will take international collaboration and I am thankful to Chairman Qi Wang for inviting me to join this important convening.?

Thanks to the Biden-Harris Administration, California will receive over $1 billion to fund zero-emission port equipment and infrastructure as well as climate and air quality planning projects. These projects will not only help reduce diesel pollution that contributes to climate change, but also improve air quality for communities living near ports. ??
