??2025 CCPA Election Application Reminder?? Join the CCPA Leadership Team! This is a friendly reminder! The California College Personnel Association is excited to accept applications for the 2025 CCPA Leadership Team. Applications will be accepted through November 17th. We are actively seeking candidates to serve in the following elected roles: President-Elect (3-year appointment) Director of Communications (2-year appointment) Director of Professional Development (2-year appointment) We also seek nominees for the following appointed positions: Director of Equity & Social Justice (2-year appointment) Director of Membership (2-year appointment) Historian (2-year appointment) Member at Large (multiple positions available) (1-year appointment) Graduate Representative (multiple positions available) (1-year appointment) Board members shall complete tasks supporting the CCPA for approximately one to two hours each week, with increased commitments for key events. Terms of service will begin on January 1, 2025. Please note: All candidates who accept elected and appointed positions must be or become members of the California College Personnel Association. We plan to finish off the day with our amazing CCPA Student Affairs Leadership Panel! Terree Stevenson is the Associate Vice President of Student Affairs and Dean of Students at California State University, Fresno. Terree works closely with University stakeholders to create a holistic learning environment, increase student retention and persistence, and employ supportive wrap-around services for students. She implements procedures for the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management (DOSAEM) to be effective and efficient, strengthens programmatic efforts in collaboration with academic affairs, consults with faculty on inclusionary pedagogy, and heavily employs high-impact practices to create transformational student experiences. Le’Trice Curl serves as the Associate Dean of Students and Director of the Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities at University of California, Merced, where she has been a pivotal leader in advancing student engagement and support services for nearly 20 years. As a proud founding staff member, Le’Trice has been instrumental in the growth and development of key student life programs, including Fraternity and Sorority Life, Social Justice Initiatives, Leadership & Community Engagement, Student Government, Women’s Programs, LGBTQ+ Initiatives, and the Office of Student Conduct.
